Yes.
Very good food for a reasonable price. Service is reasonable. Good atmosphere.
This place is always good when we go. We only have tried the bowls so far. Most of the meal is great with a few misses here and there. The spicy pork belly is nothing to rave about, although the spare ribs are. Those are my absolute favorite. Its flavorful and goes well with the rice and veggies. Who doesn't like meat and rice! The pickled veggies are ok, I'm not a huge pickled fan. They give you a lot of food, enough to get full and have left overs. The bowl comes hot so be careful to not burn yourself but you also know your food is warm and ready to enjoy. Atmosphere is a regular casual restaurant and the service has been great. It gets busy around prime eating times like dinner as well.
Hip and cool atmosphere, with reasonable portions for the price. Friendly and attentive staff as well! Will return to try all the Soju that they have as well
We used to go there a lot especially their Oakland store. The Alameda location food is not as good as the Oakland location. On Father's day, I placed a lunch order and arrived only found out they had a $1000 large order, so they push everybody else late without any warning or offer cancelation. Yes you do value you BIG customer, but remember the business is supported by.many little people like us. I will never visit your store again
I love this venue a lot. It has a very nice mood. The cuisine is wonderful. the service is efficient and the team is trained. The cost is honest. greatly recommend.
Nice place, excellent service and food 😀
Excellent service everytime we come in. The food is reasonably price and the portions are generous. Absolutely worth a visit.
Surprisingly decent Korean food
One of my main spots to grab some food. very good location, well organised, and awesome customer service. I highly recommend them!
A bit pricey, but their are a lot of options all of which are good with sizable portions.
Based on one visit for lunch: Very good, close to excellent, but can't go to 5 stars with messy table and food bits on the menu. That said, the service and food were wonderful. I am not an official on Korean food, but I enjoyed the many small plates put out - and they offer frequently to refill them - and my yummy hot bowl with beef. My partner had the cold bowl with chicken, also tasty. I liked the egg on top, plus the fresh veggies in the bowl like steamed kale and turnip, maybe? I definitely want to go back for the breaded pork or chicken plate which I saw at another table and included a good looking green salad. Banana sucker ended the meal with a sweet taste!
Inconsistent service, tasty bibimbap. We ordered the galbi bibimbap in a hot stone bowl, his was with white rice and mine was multi grain. But we were not served plates or cutlery. I had to get up and get it from nearby tables. We made the mistake of ordering shrimp tempura, but they turned out to be a few overcooked breaded shrimp that were half the size of the prawns we're normally served as tempura, and the breading was more a cornmeal or flour breading, again not tempura batter. The sauce that came with it was spicy and strange. Overall we plan to return and hope they can improve their service.
Love selection and fresh ban chan.
This place is ... alright. The food is decent and the service is decent as well. But some servers need to be trained on how to work effectively during rush hours to minimize the duration of waiting for costumers in line. I could tell that a couple of servers do not have enough experience to work an environment like this. For instance, a server kept on running back and forth from the kitchen to the diner floor for little things. She could have taken orders all at once then walked back to the kitchen to bring food out. The way she worked could have caused longer time to help customers and wasted her energy. Overall, like I said, this place is decent.
Great Korean barbecue. I got the spicy beef stew (extra spicy) with rice, shrimp tempura, and Bowl’d wings to go. Take out took about 20 minutes so I had a beer at the bar while I waited. All of the food was fantastic, especially the wings. I could eat those wings every day. All in all it was a great experience. I will be back!
Went for a 2nd visit & had a nice pleasant meal. We shared a bowl of noodles & a plate of pocket tofu as side dish.Reasonably priced, there's a wide selection so I'd have to go back there again to try them out one after another 😉
I give them a star for food presentation and a star for restaurant cleanliness. Food quality not that great for being over priced and customer service 25/75 (25% there 75% gone). Overall a place not to go back to.
Pretty delicious and staff is super friendly! Not the best bowl I’ve had but this is my second time coming here - yum!
Surprisingly good! My buddy and I actually enjoyed their delectable bulgogi lunch box and stone bibibom! Price was reasonable for lunch.
Pleasantly surprised to find this place in Alameda. Good food and service. Loved the decor and ambiance.
Hella good! I had a spicy chicken bowl and a coconut juice. Great flavors. I got the hot bowl so it made a crispy bottom. Great service.
Most of the food was really good and the service was extremely fast when we went(moderately busy friday night.) The only thing I would recommend is the servers telling you the difference sauces and everything. We expressed that it was our first time there and they didn't bother to tell us what anything on the table was (and we're amateurs) so that was a not so fun guessing game.
Food is pretty good. Prices are pretty ok for the portion size. Got out at lunch for $40 including tip (no drinks) for a stew and kimchee fried rice. Couldn't finish everything!Would recommend.
Very tasty food with large quantity!
Enjoy my lunch with my daughter an grandbaby today. Love the dishes we had. Will be coming back again.
Had lunch in Bowl'd BBQ with my friends a few times already, the overall experience is pretty good.Modern interior decoration, and they even have a nice cocktail bar! The beef bone soup, spicy tofu soup, and stir fried rice cake are really good.Speak to their service I must give them an A, their staffs are super friendly and approachable.
Delicious and the portions are large. Every bite was perfect. My only problem is the metal chopsticks. Once they get greasy, they're impossible to hold! Will be back, with my own chopsticks.
This is a good Korean restaurant. Lots of choices with excellent service. Not pricey and the food is good. They also give freebies for groups. Highly recommended in Alameda.
came on a Sunday night around 9pm. not many customers so the restaurant was pretty quiet other than the music playing in the background. the portions I got for the spicy ramen and the kimchi fried rice are pretty big and with side dishes, they sure filled me and my boyfriend up quickly. The food was wonderful and I especially liked the quick service, probably because not many orders were going through the kitchen? love the interior of the restaurant, it was very pretty and atmospheric! Would definitely come again
Food was great. Lots of choices. Good service.
Quick and easy takeout or sit down place. Good food and nice staff.
Great Korean food, especially the fried chicken!
We had a terrific Korean meal here. The bowls were huge, Boiling and delicious. The extensive menu has something for everyone. The service was good too. Highly recommended!
Great Korean food, had the fried chicken in original and soy glaze. Friends got the bibibap with spicy chicken. Quick service, open late.
